Nokia N95 8GB is one of the great mobile phone in the current market. Its actually a mini computer if you have required applications and software in it.

It provides music when you need and if give internet on your palm. Mobile telephony is very important for your busy life today.

For detail list of features please see nokia official website

KEY FEATURES OF THE PHONE

The phone is equipped with 5 mp cam which is definitely helps you in random snapping. Video recording is great with MP4 format (VGA 640x480 pixels).

The phone has enough memory (8GB) for storing images, songs, videos and other files you wish to have in your phone.

Internal memory is about 100MB at the beginning which is more than enough to run lot of applications at the same time. You will never get a message saying "Memory Full Close Some Applications". I have never got this messages in my phone so far.

You can upload your videos and images to web site of your choise with Nokia "Share on Line" application which come with the firmware ( you can also get an update separately- But I recommend you not to upgrade as you will not have the option of adding other sites as nokia is trying, with these new versions, to restirct maily to Ovi)

The browser of Nokia N95 8GB is of very good qualify when compared to the other mobile browsers in other brands. I hope this is one of the best. If you are not satisfied with in-built browser for mobile browsing, I recommend you to use operamini rather than any other browser. (Please refer my blog about opera mini for more info)
The phone has a marvelous music player to keep you in touch with your favourite songs. The in-built radio will get you to the local radio stations. Nokia has a online service to download and save the local radio channels frequencies to your mobile phone.
The display is of 2.8 inches QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) which plays a major role when it comes to playing videos.
The most important thing for me is HSDPA (3.5G) as I use my phone as a modem to connect my laptop to the internet. Modem in Nokia N95 8GB works great but have some instability.

Youtube videos on nokia n95 8gb

You can use web browser or video center in nokia N95 8GB to watch your favourit videos in youtube.
But both the methods are not working in my phone via 3G connection. However if I use WLAN, I can watch youtube videos using the built in browser and the video centre. In this case phone's browser (or the video centre) connects to the internet using WLAN and also realplayer uses the same connection at the same time.

Here are few screen shots (using WLAN)
This is how http://m.youtube.com/ shows in the phone browser.
(You can go to this site using your 3G connection with no probs)

Once you click on a video thumbnail, you will see this screen.

(Image 3)

After this screen I can watch the video with no prob. (with WLAN). You can use the dedicated media key as well. you can also view on land scape mode.

However the situation is different when I use a 3G (or 3.5g) connection.

SITUATION 1
At the outset I must tell that I could not pay youtube videos via a 3g connection. It did not work for me.
I read lot of internet forum and what I found out is that there are some instances where youtube videos could be played via 3G connection but not via WLAN and the other way around. However my situation is differenct. I could play youtube video through a WLAN without any issue. It worked perfectly. However when I use 3G (or 3.5g) connection, I could not play videos.
Some forum says if you have two differenct setting in your browser and in your Real Player, you should be able to play youtube videos. I have tried both the ways.
First, if you browser's internet setting is as same as the internet setting in the Real Player, what will happen?. (for eg. browser or the vedio center has Contract Internet as the wed settting and the Real Player also has the same setting- Contract Internet) I have stated below what happend to me with this situation.
(If you go to Tools--> Real Player-->Options-->Settings-->Streaming-->Network-->Default access point you can see the default web setting in your Real Player)

In this situation your phone browser will show the opening page (m.youtube.com) as shown in the Image 1 above without any problem. Once you click in the thumbnail, you will see the following.

(Image 4)

(Image 5)

Real Player takes about 30-60 seconds for this. But it will not load the video.

(Image 6)

This will end up with the massage " Unable to connect to server. Server time-out. "

(Image 7)

Real Player will ask wheter you need to save the video or not.

SITUATION 2
Secondly, what I tried is having two diffrent internet settings in browser and in the real player. (eg. Browser has Contract Internet and the Real Player has Contract wap).
Still I could not play youtube videos. I got the same result as I have shown in the SITUATION 1 . I used wap settings in Real Player and Internet Setting in browser.
If anyone has found out a way to play youtube video on N95 8GB, please let me know>..............
